In remembrance

Jean Lande Hennessey

Jean Lande Hennessey resident of Hanover NH for 47 years, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 9th at 5:20 pm. at Mary Hitchcock Hospital, in Lebanon, NH.

She lived 77 full years — crusading tirelessly for causes that she believed in — leaving a lasting mark with philanthropy, and advocating for the environment and the advancement of women.

Her gracious generosity, emthusiasm and commitment, wit and wisdom, will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service for Jean L. Hennessey was held on Sunday, June 27th at 2 pm, in Rollins Chapel at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

She is also survived by her older brother Philip, and his wife Darlene, of Seattle.

She, and her husband John, moved to Kendal at Hanover, in March 2001.
